Just got back from 11 days in Trinidad and Tobago, staying at Asa Wright and Cuffie River Lodges. Great places both! Saw 193 species of birds, 79 which were lifers. Very laid back compared to most bird tours I've taken. The late afternoon rum punch was especially enjoyable! I only took a few bird pics, concentrating on flower photography. Thought I'd share a few.
Good ole Banaquits are the bullies at the feeders
In the open, they are quite noticeable but among vegetation, Green Honeycreepers are well hidden.

One of the best pics! This White-chested Emerald was so close I could use the macro mode so it was like taking a flower pic!
and the very best....a Copper-rumped Hummingbird.
Hummigbirds in flight are not the best for my simple camera. Here was my attempt at a Rufous-breasted Hermit.
