trying to name these old plates

My DH inherited these plates some years ago. As he recalls growing up they had belonged to his great grandmother. They are not in the best of shape and by no means a complete set, but, we are just wondering if anyone can help us date them. Also, we are wondering if there is a name for the pattern.
