My driftwood stinks

While on vacation I found 4 small pieces of driftwood I just love and now I need to find a way to get the fishy smell out of them. I wasn't sure where to post this question but figured some of you here may have had this problem. I don't want to bleach out the wood. Hubby suggested Oxyclean but I am not sure it will remove the odor. Any advice?
