Sylvia, where did you find it?

Link, Sweden(Zone 5b)

Hi I donīt know where the orgin country is, but we have had it here in Sweden in some families since many many years, it called "Panteramaryllis" here, (panther-amaryllis)
Iīve got mine from an old lady for more than 25 years ago.
Very fresh and healthy, flower one to two times a year, evergreen.

That's wonderful! I got my first species from my grandmother through a cousin. I love the "passing on" of plants.

Beautiful bloom!!!

Beautiful...I have not seen so many dots in an amaryllis flower. How big is the flower Sylvia?

Link, Sweden(Zone 5b)

Not so big, about 10-11 centimetre (3,94 to 4,33 inch), and the flowerstem only about 40 to 45 centimetre (15,75 to 17,72 inch).
Yes many many dots. It is my best amaryllis I really love it.
~Sylvia

I like that one too! I also would like seeds if there are any extra ones! Lorine

Sylvia~

Have you ever pollinated your flowers?

We must sometimes play the part of the bee to help "Mother Nature" do her work. :-)

I can trade seeds later on.

You have a rarely seen gem there!

Hi R
I do it sometime with cross to other species, I did it in november with pardinum and reticulatum 'striatifolium' but it didīnt work.
I shall try to play bee as I say above with the two buds which are left.
