Hummingbird House?

Hi! Has anyone tried one of these houses? If so, any success?

Yes, and it comes with simulated "leaves" as the roof!! Don't know WHY it's called a "house." LOL.

I'm contemplating it as a gift for my Mom, who has many rubies in the summer.

I bought one about 5 years ago and its still sitting in its box in my closet lol. My problem is getting DH to put it up. They recommend attaching it under your eaves in a certain directional corner (I can't remember which one off hand) and that made it too high for me to do myself with our current ladder.

I have since heard from people that it works better with some of the western hummer breeds than it does with the ruby throat. I would still like to try mine someday though.
