Hi Annette. I've not seen them before. Lovely flowers! Are they from the LAmiaceae family?

Yes they are part off the lamiaceae family, where the flower comes out there is a little skullcap(that is what it looks like) that is where the seeds form you pop the skull and Voila..interesting.

Lovely they look familiar but I am not sure ...what would the common name be? or is it skull cap? must look it up ...pretty pictures :)
