I wonder if you could substitute regular Crisco for the meat suet for those of us that do not have exhaust fans that go to the outdoors?

Pelle, Got a gas grill? if so, just melt the suet in a pan on that outside. Any time I have to do any frying or anything like that, I move it OUTDOORS!

I just went to the bird store and saw the fancy 'store bought' birdy christmas ornaments for I won't say how many $$...much more fun to make them at home too!!

yah, great gifts for kids to give to grandparents, etc.
