I have friends from Aussie that I share with. Why do plants have to be restricted? It should be ok to share some plants, as long as they aren't considered a noxious weed. You could be restricting yourselves from nice plants that are growable in certain areas. My best friend lives in Sydney.
?????
Australia has an extremely strict quarantine laws and for good reason. There is a website that you could check out to see what is allowed and what isn't. I'm sure someone here has that link as I don't seem to.
could you share what is allowed then? We have tough laws here that restrict particular states from some things, as some cause things such as apple maggots, some are considered noxious weeds, etc........
Thanks for sharing!
Karrie
Try sifting through this website. It really won't be easy to get plants/seeds into Australia. Customs and Quarantine are very strict. You have to remember that if you send a plant that seems "ok", it may not be the plant but any living organisms, that you can't see, living on it.
