Would you please post pictures of your white iris. I am trying to decide which white iris I would like to add to my garden, thank you in advance.

White Iris
Would you prefer a spring bloomer or a rebloomer? There are quite a few white rebloomers that may rebloom in zone 5a. Also, are you interested only in tall beardeds, or do you want suggestions for white medians, as well?
Spring bloomers any dwarf, int. or tall.
Miniature Dwarf -
Invisible Ink
Snowy River
Standard Dwarf -
Blue Line
Lovin' Spoonful
Intermediate -
Zua
Miniature Tall Bearded -
Crystal Ruffles
You can find my pics of all of these in the PlantFiles or on my website.
I believe most of my white TBs are rebloomers, so I won't bother to list them. I have a couple of white IB rebloomers, as well.
These were a few of the ones I was looking at for next year:

Arctic Express is beautiful!
Thank you all so much. I have determined that I like the purity of the white beards, rather than the yellow or orange ones.
I am enjoying this, also. I need to add a few whites to my pink strip.
Mittsy, I have Bridal Fashion, if you like that one, I can share next year. That does have a white beard.
Mittsy--I picked up on that too when I was looking through the whites. I sort of naturally veered away from any with bright orange beards or yellow near the heart. I don't mind a tinge of blue or purple as much but do prefer as pure a white as I can find.
I like Egret Snow, an MDB with a white beard.

You've all been so kind I'm going to share with you why I want these white iris. Our 43 year old son, was recently burned very badly by a flashback on a brush fire. He had poured gasoline on it and then used a barbeque igniter. He spent 10 days in the hospital, and after being released had to return for hydrotherapy for another week. Then recovery at home. Other than some scarring he's fine, no permanent damage to his eyes, fingers or ears. We are so greatful for the support of all our friends, family and church, and especially for all the prayers that I am planting this garden of thanksgiving.
What a blessing that he survived such a horror and in good shape, no less. You do have so much, as does he, to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Day.
Oh, Mittsy, how horribly scary. I'm so glad everything turned out OK.
A garden of thanksgiving is a great idea. I would love to be able to contribute something to it, when we get together next year. I do have a lovely white siberian also. Will this garden be up here, or down in Florida? What state does your son live in?
Rob lives in the outskirts of Owensboro KY. The iris will be planted in NY. Iris are very limited in FL.
We wish him the very best, mittsy!
Our nieces in Florida can only grow white irises: the others they've tried have failed. Even the white ones are most successfully grown north of Orlando.
We have to have salt tolerant as we are a block from the ocean. Our walls give us some protection but the salt is in the air and many plants will struggle but not thrive. I rec'd some iris rhizomes in a fall swap and brought them with me. I have them planted in a terra cotta planter. They are growing but they are definately going back up north with me in the spring.
So true! One niece is a block off the ocean and she has many more problems with plants than the one in Flagler Beach.
So lush! I love that yellow/orange touch in the beard and think it adds to the beauty of the blossom.
Thank you mrsj. I'm looking forward to meeting you at your dad's in B'ville.
