Oh, yeah, Harper! In fact, I'll join you - yummmm - even if it does give me hot flashes! LOL I like wine and most drinks, but I haven't been able to have any in years because of the flushed face thing. It's just too uncomfortable! I thought I was over that stage and had a glass of wine recently.......WRONG! Still flushed!! I pretty much stick to iced tea.

I have been doing well for the past 2 weeks... I did have a piece of chocolate today (after so many days... oh it was good! and I had a piece of ice cream cake with Victor... it was his b-day yesterday... but I controlled myself and it was ok... my bloodsugar has been in control and I continue to take my meter with me everywhere I go... my reality check tool!!!!
oh I am so sad... my garden still a mess... I miss my roses ... can't believe this is just the beginning... how am I going to do without my roses????
Kassia - Think of the roses as just resting so that they can come alive in the spring and anticipate the excitment when you see your first blossom. You get to rest also!! Put your rose pics on your desktop and use them in a screen saver slide show so you can see them all winter long!! And we're all in the same boat and miss gardening!! Eleanor
