Anywhere to watch BBC program online?

Berkeley, CA(Zone 9b)

I hit the Royal Horticultural Society site while looking for something and saw that the BBC have made a program on the RHS called "A Passion for Plants". I'd like to see it but I live in California. Even if it's on BBC America, I don't have cable or satellite. If anyone sees anyplace where I can see it, please let me know.

I followed the links to the BBC site, you can get some parts of it there.

Thanks, wallaby. I discovered those earlier but I'm still holding out hope that I'll be able to view the entire programs somehow...

wallaby, I've only recently heard of Monty Don, by virtue of listening to the Wiggly Wigglers podcast (it's funny how many UK household names we don't know in the US). Still don't know much about him. Why wouldn't you listen to him? I'm interested in your opinion...

I stopped watching the Gardener's World programme long ago mainly becasue of Monty Don. He seemed to be a 'front man' and not a gardener, some of the information he gave was ridiculous, it was as if someone had told him what to say but he never put it right. I mean, would you water your tomatoes only once a WEEK in a greenhouse? Even in our cool climate they would expire.

He was also always wanting the last word and had to be correct against other trained horticulturalists who knew their stuff, it was painful to watch.

I have never heard of Wiggly Wigglers podcast.

Thanks, wallaby. It's good to hear your take on things.

The Wiggly Wigglers podcast is an informative and often hilarious podcast about sustainability, English rural life, wildlife gardening, and loads of digressions in between. You can subscribe to it using iTunes or you can dowload MP3s of the show from
