Marlton, NJ

Very exciting! This is a different one than the Green breasted in Wisconson which is still there btw.

Scroll down a little further for reports on other birds.

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Anyone off to see it?

It's a bit far for me to go!

I think heyitsmejudy is from Georgia; she should go.

I was hoping the one in Wisconson had left but he's still there. :-( He has not been banded.

heyitsmejudy is indeed in "Gawga"... though she has no clue where Dublin is... I'd have better luck finding a rare hummingbird than Dublin, more than likely!

I heard that the mango hummingbird here in Wisconsin left a couple of weeks ago.Where are you getting your information?

Marlton, NJ

Let me check on that again.

The info is from a listserve out of Wisconsin.

Here is the latest report.

"The Beloit Mango continues to come to the feeders as often as before and
still appears healthy. As soon as there is a change in status, I will post
to this list. I promise. So until you hear otherwise, the Mango is alive
and well and still coming to the feeders in Beloit."

Thanks for the info. 2 weeks ago on Public Radio They interviewed the lady whose yard it appeared in and she said that it had left and thus, so did the people who came from all over to see it. So who knows what gives. Maybe she was just getting tired of the crowds in her yard and said it had left.
