After years of wanting these viburnums but not fining them locally or mail order sources being out when I was ready to order I finially this fall ordered and received from Forest Farm both Viburnum Sargentii Susquehanna and Viburnum Sargentii Chiquita. The Susquehanna has been on my wish list since I pretty much finished up my bird attracting shrub border full of viburnums, shrub dogwoods, serviceberry, elderberry and others. The Chiquita I saw in the FF catalog and decided to get that too since its a dwarf form that is only supposed to grow 3-4 feet tall.
Late this summer I finished up clearing out the last area to be done in my shrub border that runs all along the south property line. I put in a small 3 foot round preformed pond and added the last of the shrubs to the area and the bird paradise is done.
Viburnum Sargentii added to the yard finially
Wow, sounds great. Can you post a couple of pictures of your border?
Thanks,
Mike
