notmartha...good looking plants! Can they be eaten?
I love kale, but I have only eaten the green leafy type found in grocery stores. I ask because I "almost" bought the ornamental kind last spring, but not knowing their palatability, I declined to purchase.
My idea was to place tham in the front yard to kinda spruce it up a little, but we already have beau coup flowers and I thoughtt they would do nicely close to the driveway.
Thanks!

YEP! Ornamental kale is edible. I now look forward to starting plants for next spring.
Do any of you know if "colors" can be ordered seperately or does one have to "catch as catch can"?
Thanks!

Bay City, MI(Zone 6a)

you can get them separate if you order them
