suggestions for school pottery display?

I have been collecting different pottery, "school art class" type, at garage sales. I'm wanting to have, a pick up and look at, type area with my collected treasures. The thoughts i have been toying with are to just lay them around here and there, or all in one area, kind of a pile. Not knowing yet, thought i would get some input from others. Some of the pots are are pretty neat, some so so, and a couple weird. None the less, i find them interesting, and the price is right! Any suggestions? Thanks...
