The poppies have been gone for quite a while now, except for Argemone platyceras. For some reason this beauty from Mexico and our Southwest has done very well up here in the damp, wet NW. It seems to be biennial and even produces a bit if seed, now and then. True to its name, it is very prickly. I'm very fond of it, and bringing it in to overwinter is no trouble at all.
