"Mosaic" garden path

Webster, NY(Zone 6a)

I just put this garden in this summer (as you can probably tell by the size of most of the plants) and I wanted something "different" for the path. The path is all granite scraps I got for free from a stone and granite company - a lot of them sink cutouts. Spreading out the cobbles and three yards of pea gravel wasn't enough fun for me - I decided I needed to bring home four car loads (loaded, unloaded and placed by me) of granite (my neighbor did place the boulders for me)! It's too bad the sun wasn't out for this picture - there are some really wonderful colors in the granite. :) Anyway, the granite was free and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Now I can't wait until the plants grow in!
