I haven't heard of Dunnocks and Blue Tits being banded Resin, do you know who does it? I haven't seen Chaffinches for a while, they tend to turn up early in the year.

You do have talkative birds adelbert!

Robin speaks too, wherever I go he is there saying "you here again?"

This pretty little Blue Tit found something in the Horse Chestnut tree.

sybil, great job! So glad you got the RBW! They are very cool birds.

Nice pics sybil, you must have lots of Jays there! The Horse Chestnut has some very rich coloured leaves now, some others are just drying out perhaps with an air frost, it's been around freezing a couple of nights.

My Wood Pidgeon which was sunning itself in the Oak tree is sitting on a nest! The last baby I saw come out of the nest was at the end of September.

I'm still knocked over by the Red-shouldered Hawk from yesterday. I sent the info with pic off to a regional bird watching group and they replied with: "That's getting pretty far north for a Red-shouldered." I feel honored in some way!

The Wren was on it's favourite fence again today, these are a bit better.

A very interesting looking Hawk sybil, it seems to be hanging around! You will have to set yourself up a hide to get plenty of pics!

I don't know what this one is, it was a long way off, looks to have a dark band edged white on it's wing and a Finch type of beak.
