This is a 06 pic but still a favorite of mine. Stairway to Heaven.
I guess because of the late freeze, many of mine didn't bloom well this past Spring. I am looking foward to next season.

Where are you L? You have some super pics?

This is Aardvark Lark. I love the photo of American Maid. I have only seen one in a catalog before and almost ordered it this year.

Some of my favorite irises are NOIDs. This one came with the house, but I love it, all nestled in a Korean lilac. Wish I had a clue what it was.

Another of my favorite NOIDs. Laurie, I love your arilbred, Genetic Artist! I am impressed that you can grow it in your northern climes. I bought my first Arilbreds this year. Hopefully, I will be able to show some pictures in the spring.
Back to another NOID that came with my house. I wish I knew what it was.

Earthborn. From 2006. It didn't bloom in 2007 because I had moved it. Hope for blooms in 2008.

Your NOID looks like my Mulled Wine.

I will order a Mulled Wine and plant it next to this one. I am so glad for a hint as to what it may be. It is one of my favorite tall beardeds! Thanks so much.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA

I don't know if it is Mulled Wine but it's mighty close to the picture I have.
You are welcome if I'm right, if I'm wrong, you don't know me!!

Weegie, sounds fair! Another iris close to this one can be all that bad.

I agree!

I am really glad you started this thread. It is really lovely to see everyone's favorites. Anita, I love that arilbred. Can't wait to see mine. They are growing nicely. Started up at the end of the summer.

Here's the path at the back of the house in April. The shrubs behind the iris are sasanqua camellias and they are blooming right now. It's a nice combination.
