Pagan's post about popcorn got me to thinking about Dad, and I remember his laugh.... I can still hear him when I do something he would comment about.....

we (DH and I) were re-shingling the garage roof, and we had got to the very top, where the 4 sides of the roof meet. It was starting to rain, so I slapped a half a shingle down to cover the neat little job I had made and whacked in a couple of nail to hold it..... I admit, it looked awful sloppy.......

Later on, I was in the upstairs bathroom, and looked out over the garage roof, and I could hear Dad's comment

"AW, fer f***'s sake, who taught YOU to shingle, and his laugh"

btw, the half shingle is still up there, and Dad and I are still laughing.....
