I turned back around and this Dove flew out of the hedge near me just a few feet away, took a while to realise I was there!
DAILY PICS VOL. 24
looks like you had a fun day......our back yard is about ten acres, mostly conifers with a scattering of oaks, madrone, alder, willow and various shrubs. And oh yes poison oak.
Wonderful pics wallaby!
Wow you really were busy today!
Thanks for posting these!
I had a wonderful time today adelbert, the sun was shining, about 13C with a cool but pleasant breeze. I wish I oculd get behind the double row of Oaks, all the birds fly out from or over those. You have a small nature reserve there!
I should have been sowing seeds, but as it was a rotten day yesterday I had to make up for it today! Thanks Pelle!
I got a helicopter (the latest troop carrier apparently) close-up too, and a large NATO passenger jet came just over the Oaks too, got close up of that too!
Good one adel, they do look guilty! Purple beaks?
They look so cute in that shot adel!
Nice shot Grandmaggie!!!!
adel I like those feeders; if I didn't have squirrels I would love to have them.
Very handsome Jay!
Excellent photos Tigerlily. You captured rheir eyes so well.
Beautiful shots.
Outstanding pics tiger!!!!
Great job; thanks for posting them! Pelle :-)
very nice Tiger.
Thanks all.
Does anyone have images of the White-headed WP to share? We have them in this area, but I've not seen one yet, and they're not to common..........habitat destruction.
Heck! We get critters here, but nothing that big in the neighborhood. Great pictures.
Kaperc..........what part of San Diego Co. are you in?
Could it be a Red Tailed Hawk?
