Major beading.
Show us your bloomers!!
wonderful shots Victor & Amethystsm
yes, just one butterfly... sigh. that leaf would get in the way of the best shot.
i think i have seen those too, al. Are they kinda furry, like a moth, but in the daytime?
Kassia - what is the name of the lovely lilac and soft yellow dahlia? It's gorgeous!
now that is a freaky looking bug!
but what a great shot of your asters, al!
i'm so jealous.

Yes the Dahlia is now an involuntary ground cover.
Loved all the shots from everyone!!!
Bebop - thanks for that link on the African Daisy. I'm excited to see it is a perennial in zone 10, so I can grow it in Florida. I also followed the link to a company that sells them. Once I get to Fla. I intend to order a couple. They are so unusual, AND you can save the seeds from them, so I can plant some up here as well next spring. Win/Win!!
Cool shot, Bebop!!
Lovely photos everyone! Such loveliness still, this late in the season. I am so happy!!
Okay, way too many to comment on all of them individually, but all are terrific shots. I must say I really liked Al's moth pic and Pirl's garden bed of dahlias. All the roses and berries etc. really nice.
Not much worth shooting today but got a few snaps of rain soaked blooms.
New mums this spring, 'Bronze Daisy' and 'Fall Charm'.
ngam - it's beautiful!
Nice pics everyone. I'm enjoying them all cause soon we won't have any blooms - what do we do then? Re-runs!! Eleanor
Dahlias look nice Pirl. You missed some grassy weeds growing in front of them though ;)
Nice photo bebob2 - what's the 2 for?
ngam - thanks. your dahlia pic is very pretty..
Ha! The neighbors think it's the daylilies going on and on to frost.
If you put those onion blossoms in a vase they'll stay perfect for a very long time.
Al, it is lovely. I love the way the color is softly repeated to the left and right, plus the hint of magenta.
Works for me too Al. I like the soft colors but it is still sharp and crisp. It doesn't hurt to have such a pretty subject either. :)
