It was raining when I got up,

so I decided since I couldn't work out side I'd go to town. When I got to the front drive by the bird feeding station I saw these Evening Grosbeaks

When I got home I decided to take a walk up Scott River and saw this Heron.

Great shots! For years we use to get evening grosebeaks in large flocks, they would clean out my feeder in one sitting. For about the last 10 years, I have not seen but maybe 3. I have yet to figure out where they went!
