My Cottage Garden as Pictured Today :)
Sign by mailbox.. We are in a full drought. No watering is allowed using county water. I got my well dug, installed, pumped, and powered up the week before no watering ban went into effect... Obviously, i'm allowed to use my well.. it is not hooked to the irrigation system yet, so I have to set out the sprinkler and move it.. and thats why I had the time to take all these pictures today!! )
ooohhh, pretty pictures to enjoy with my coffee... thank you!

My Pleasure Critter :)
okay.. So I know ears aren't cottage.. But it's my garden and I'll grow what I want to!
My mom grew elephant ears in South Florida when I was a child. I picked them up at a box store on a whim this spring. I will probably trade for them this fall and put in more cottage type plants.. But I loved them and they were big and fun.
This was for you mom... I Love you. Thanks for teaching me about the love of a garden.

What is in the pot, SGL? I love the effect. It's like a liquid spilling all over! Can you get us a link to the other thread on it?
Oklahoma redbud Underplanted with gooseneck loosestrife which I'm expecting will take over the entire mulched area :) This tree doesn't have the best form yet, but considering the fact that I pulled it out of a dumpster with the help of a guy I asked and I didn't know who thought I was nuts.... well, i'd say it looks pretty darn good for a dead tree.
