Photon - SDB
Electron - TB 1972 by ?. Jack

That's all for now. I have Neutron (in the ground) and Proton (on the way) would like Electron to go with

Thanks in advance.

What a great idea, a nuclear iris grouping!

You better join HIPS, the Historic Iris Society.

Actually it started out as power (I had Voltage with Neutron and Sparks Fly - orange, purple, red-violet) and have added Proton and Radioactive this year. I know there is an Electrique, but it doesn't want to thrive here for some reason (I've tried twice before). So I guess I could call it Nuclear! Thanks for the idea.

I do have many Historics (at least now they are) as I think my original supplier got his iris gardening bug in the 70's when the 60's plants were cheap. His collection is mostly 60-80's but he is catching up. He actually has broken colors now (LOL!).

Gotta run.

You might want to acquire Nucleur Nancy by Burseen. The misspelling of the name is apparently deliberate. He tries to spell some of his cultivars the way people really say them -- correct pronunciation or not.

Here's Photon, but it's in Canada

Found no Electron iris but apparently there is a rose and a dianthus with that name.

Electron was registered in 1972 by C. Jack. But I don't have a clue where one can get it.

Superstition iris has a few similarly named introductioons: Chain Reaction, Prime Power, and there is always Electrique!

Chuck Chapman ships to the US but probably not worth it for one iris. The Jack family owns Ferncliff Gardens in BC and sell some iris == made me wonder if this was the Jack in question; except that the former owner was Milton Jack and his son David now owns it. They might know of the iris, though
