We used to see them for a while in Iowa, but they haven't been here for probably five years now. I was fortunate one year to see a bunch of American Redstarts. That was a real treat. Our local bird watcher said in all of her seventy some years, she had never seen any. They sure did flit from tree to tree and in about an hour, they were gone. Never saw them again. I didn't have a camera that could even begin to keep up with them. Or maybe it is me that can't keep up. Sorry...didn't mean to change the subject.
