Just a few to show today.
Blueberry Hill (measured almost 8")
Blooms for Monday September 17th
Ooooooooooooo pretty! I like Curly Top!
Well actually, I like them ALL but CT is my fav for the day!
I have to agree about CT being the shot of the day, but I sure do like that Blueberry Hill too :-)
I'd have to go with Curly Top too, that one goes on next year's wish list. (I'm not allowed to buy any more this year since I think my greenhouse is already going to be stuffed to the gills this winter!)
OK Karen I am waiting for more in my living room with electricity and A/C LOL
Pick a number from 1-9 and that would be my favorite of Robert's pictures. It wouldn't matter....they are all just beautiful. Of the pictures you have posted so far today, Karen, I really like Allure. All are really nice. I've never met a hib. that I didn't like.
I'm lovin' Love Story too! It reminds me of Cherry Ice, except maybe a little pinker?
Karen,
Voodoo Magic and Cinnamon Girl have my vote so far today
I love the Voodoo Magic!
My mom and her best friend are slumber partying at my house, so I didn't even have a chance to see if I had any new blooms.
but, my pics for today are:
Curly Top
Creole Darlin
Cinnamon Girl
Creole Mustard
Amanda, those are beautiful! I love the way they look together :-)
Very nice Amanda!!! Beautiful Shot!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you guys!! I know you might be bored of these common varieties but I'm sooooooooo ecstatic since they hadn't bloomed for so long. :)
Pretty flowers are NEVER boring to me at all!
Oh, I wish I lived in a warmer zone. I would be growing these beauties! Love the shots.

Teresa, it can be done. I'm a bit colder than you are and I have close to 40 hibiscus. LOL! Jump right in and give it a try. Wintering them over can be a bit of a pain, but they are worth it. I've only wintered over two in the past, so this winter will be my biggest challenge.
No need for a warm climate, a lot of us here keep them in pots and bring them in or put them in a greenhouse for the winter. There are hardy hibiscus that are very pretty too, you may not get quite the variety of looks that the tropicals do, but many of them are very nice.
I want a GH badly! This thread isn't helping either. I have one in college and twins in HS. Maybe someday. I do love tropicals.

Yeah, me too. I think we should all adopt Robert's GH as our own .... ;)
