Blooms for 09-15-07

Hi all,
Sorry I didn't post the last few days. Been really, really busy. Now that the weather is cooling down some (still in the 90's) I am seeing more buds and blooms. Here are todays new blooms. first up:

Can't get over the difference in the brown color between 2 blooms

PS...my fav for today is Hot Bikini. For some reason I thought she was a mini. This girl was about 8-9", no mini, but quite a knockout.

My second fav was Madame Dupont. My gosh, she is huge!

both are first time bloomers from Robert :)

Cat, your pictures are great - love that Voodoo Magic! Your Hot Bikini is "glowing", I just love that about this cultivar. Island Passion is SO on the list :-)

As usual, I'm a day late and dollar short on Saturday. Here's mine. I picked up a really beautiful Enlightment at a local nursery for $25; super healthy with lots of blooms. Here's a pic of one of the three that were showing yesterday :-)

Gator Pride was nice and orange Saturday, that's my favorite Gator look :-)

I take back the harsh things I said about Bluebird. I'm liking it more each time it blooms.

Cajun Blue is looking a lot nicer now that the weather has stayed below 100.

Fragile Moment with her second bloom. The little plant has growing by leaps and bounds so I'm hoping for lots more blooms soon :-)

I think this bloom on Electric Blue is particularly stunning. Really nice colors, and it blooms so much!

Molten Lava is having beautiful blooms daily.

Hi Karen,
All are beautiful as well. We got our power back today and just cleaning the mess. I have a few to post. 1st up is "Tsunami" This one was blooming under a tree that fell over it but did not crush them. It was a little different than usual.

Next up is Cosmic Dancer

Last one from Saturday for me was a second bloom on Red Dragonette, thanks David!!

Next is Voodoo Doll. She was very lucky also!!!

All I had for today was Peggy Hendry, took a picture but I'm not going to have time to upload today. The bloom wasn't that great and the sun was glaring on it when I took the pic so it probably doesn't look good enough to share anyway!

My favs for the day are Amber Suzanne, Fragile Moment, and Lavender Lady. But everything is gorgeous as usual!

Thanks Karen She is a beauty. Pics do not even do her justice. Next is Gator Pride. This bloom is a different color than I usually have. Turned yellow rather quickly today.

Wow that color on Chocolate High is so rich! And Voodoo Doll, you KNOW I'm going to have to get one to go with all my other Voodoo girls ;-) Lavender Lady is great too :-)
