Right now, it's windy and raining! It's still hurricane! It's on land now but still hurricane! Flooding is everywhere! Our creek is flooding and spread to neighbor's yard! Lucky, our house is on high ground. Still have electricity. In Beaumont, TX, I think about 5,000 people witout power! It's 35 min from here.

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks for checking in Mini...It was easy to see that Louisiana was getting hit hard when I saw the reprts this morning. Hope the wind decreases soon. You're still under tornado watch too, aren't you?

By the way, How's RedRose? I haven't seen her post for a while now

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Still windy and increasing.....lot of limbs on ground.. I am watching this pine tree dead still standing in backyard and hope on the tip of tree will fall!

RedRose is fine.. I talked to her yesterday.. they are just getting some light rain.. nothing serious unlike here.

TS Ingrid is still dawdling along... the forecast track 5 day cone makes me think this one could miss us too. Of course, it's still a long way out there.

Beaumont, TX

110,000 without power here. I was fortunate. Only the cable went out. But I have Roadrunner so no internet for me ! It made a mess of my plants. Ripped to shreds. They'll come back. It was pretty wild. I woke up at 3 am to the noise of the wind. Looked out the door to see white wind at about 60 mph blowing up my driveway. Awesome power.
