Do we have any competitive Obedience or Agility trainers here?

I've got about six months to read up on this subject before I get my next puppy. I want to move away from the old school 'choke chain & jerk' method of training. Are there any books that you can recommend to me as I prepare to make this shift?

I will be enrolling in puppy socialization classes and also want to complete Canine Good Citizen, Therapy dog, and hopefully move into obedience trials... That's my story.

Note: By "Positive Reinforcement Training," I am referring to dog training that does NOT involve the use of a choke chain nor other forms of punishment.
