cherry tree got stripey leaves

hi - my ornamental cherry tree (30ft), has got light green stipes on some of the leaves, parallel to the veins, is this magnesium deficiency? or something more sinister..i'm gonna go out and give it a feed nevertheless, but if anyone has any other ideas?
