And to begin today's thread ... here's a pic of my Enlightenment twins! Forgive the fogginess and colors - the camera couldn't focus with the humidity. This bed is more humid than the rest.
Blooms for 09-07-07
PS, Amanda I really like the foggy effect on your enlightenment.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh, pretty, CAT!!!!! Thanks!
I had some blooms today. Our weather is cooling down, so it won't be long before I'll have to cut back and bring them in. I sure wish the thumbnails would show the whole picture like they used to.
All great pictures today, as usual. Still liking that Leroy.

Your Midnight Moon caught my eye.
Amanda,
Celia has a spider web on it. Check her out tomorrow.
Midnight Moon is gorgeous.
Magnifique lost her bud, just as she was getting ready to bloom. But, then again, it rained so hard that the rain probably knocked it off.
Stormy Days is showing promise, as is Tarantella and Montserrat. Orville Davis keeps teasing me, as does Standing Ovation. And, I have one hib, no idea what her/his name is yet, that looks like it is ready to bloom. Once blooming, I guess I'll find out :)
Cool pic of Celia.
Lovely collection of hibiscus. My red one has had a second flush of buds. Is this unusual?
Hi Joan, thanks! No, it's great that you have a second flush! In the right climate, tropical hibiscus can bloom year around.
WOW, KAREN!! Get on with your bad self!! Stunning photos!!
Cat - I saw that web - is that a bad thing??? This is the first promising bud I've had since July-ish on this plant because something was causing TONS of bud drop (thrips? I dunno). So I doused it in Orthene at the end of last week. I can't go check on the bud now, it's pouring!! I'll check later. But I did find these nasty things crawling/jumping/being nasty on my Celia ... what in the world are they!?
i have those too... im curious!
Well, it looks like it's a beneficial Assassin Bug ... hummmm ... ?
