Can anyone tell me how to collect seeds from Mums?
Does anyone know how to...
I believe it is the flower once it turns brown. Just dead head em like you would a Zinnia,or a marigold. That's all I do and just let the flower dry
CoCo I have tried that and looked for seeds but haven't found any just dead leaves, or should I just plant the whole dead head.
You can take cuttings from mums and strip the lower leaves from the cutting and place in moist soil. Keep the cutting moist. My bird bath come in handy for this on occasion. In about 3 weeks you will have another plant to trade!
Division works too.
CoCo have you had any success in growing them from the flowers you save?
Thanks you all for the information, I do appreciate it.
