Anti-bacterial Soap

NE Medina Co., TX(Zone 8a)

An article in the paper today said that 27 studies done comparing efficiency of anti-bacteria vs. plain soaps shows that there is no difference between them in preventing the spread of germs (and therefore contagious disease). Since some other studies have shown that the ingredients in these anti-bacterial soaps can have an adverse effect on the environment, I see no reason why people buy them. I do worry about spreading diseases, having worked in the medical field years ago, but I use plain soap myself. I just wash my hands more often than some people do. I've wondered about those hand air drying machines, however. I might look into the cost of one.
