CLOSED: ID on this hawk

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

This hawk is at the Brevard Zoo, FL. without an ID sign. Peterson's says there is a Florida subspecies of Red-shouldered Hawk, that doesn't have the strong red on the wings. It seems to be a bit smaller and thinner, than what I would expect for a Red-shouldered, so I wonder if it is something else, or an immature of another species. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the back of the bird. Any ideas?

Red-shouldered.....sometimes FL birds are a little paler than others

Thanks, Ned. The Red-shouldered Hawk was the only drawing in Peterson's that came close to this photo. All the zoo's hawks are rehabilitated birds, so its smaller size could be a result of past medical problems.
