Thank you flygirl, you are right.
You're welcome, Dinu, that's a beauty!
I want an entry now in the BF. Hope Kennedy will do it.

Look at this striking similarity here! But notice the title in the link.
A BF entry required for this please.
claypa, many thanks. Lots of work for both of us today! But I've cleared up my long-overdue work, almost. There are some more, spiders et al. Will take up sometime later. In the meantime, I've registered myself on TrekNature [above link] where I can exclusively share the Nature pics there. I liked the pictures posted there - just one allowed per day per member! So we have to post our best shots.
You're welcome!
Dinu, you got me looking some more and it looks like there are several Graphiums that look similar: G. evemon, eurypylus, agamemnon, doson, and sarpedon. There may be more, that was just a guick search. It looks like it will take some time to figure out the subtle differences and find the exact id.....good luck on that.
Will that TrekNature help id?
Perhaps with my limited time, I could become tardy on that. If you have time on your hands, please do look over and if any change becomes necessary, we can do that. I thought there were a lot many sitting here doing nothing in my PC. I've the same screenname there at TrekNature also. It could be possible, but since there is a serious limit of one pic per day, it may not be possible there. Some post it there as unidentified also. So it may not be an authoritative set of information there, but let's try to be precise from our part. I'll also try to be on the lookout. Thanks for bringing that up.
Hi,
Nice pic Dinu.
fly_girl has identified it correctly as the Common Jay, Graphium doson.
The TrekNature title for the butterfly is incorrect. The Common Bluebottle (Graphium sarpedon) is also known as the Blue Triangle. The photograph on the TrekNature page is of the Common Jay
Graphium doson and not the Blue Triangle.
This is the Blue Triangle. http://www.geocities.com/brisbane_butters/BlueTriangle.htm which I have been trying for a long time to photograph :(

Wow! That's a beauty! Good job fly! :) Wouldn't we love to see that here!
Hi Hari,
Thanks for the pointer. The link did not open [trying at office]. But perhaps I'll try at home. It may work in another PC.
The next time I'm in Hyderabad, we may be meeting! I was there February for a few days.
Dinu
