TS Felix

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Moving into the Caribbean but doesn't look like it will be any threat to the US. The predicted path shows the storm moving west but a bit more southerly than Dean. It has passed the southern Lesser Antilles and is heading towards Belize and then the Yucatan. Felix is predicted to be a hurricane by Monday.

There is also a tropical wave behind Felix that the meteorologists are watching

Update: Hurricane hunters report that Felix has strengthened to 60mph already. It is now expected to be a hurricane by tomorrow morning with predictions of becoming a major storm as it moves thru the Caribbean
