Here is a small Somalense (Somaliense) with a seedpod. The flowers are small on this one.About an inch and a quarter side to side.
seedpod on Somalense
That is neat. How did you polinate the flower? Sally
Lucky you ;)
SallyD this one is pollinated by tiny livestock.I have tried hand pollinating several times but with no luck so far.
gone2seed, lol!!!
Larry
hand pollinate with a pine needle
Swish it around and around and around
Then go to next plant repeat
DO NOT RINSE!!
Ive desired seedpods for the last 5 years..
I now have a bunch, like no less than 7 lol!
My buddy whom I got into adeniums also has a bunch. ;)
We are thrilled
Well grow them all lol!
Good tip Michael.I will be sure to try that today.I have lots of blooms on the seedlings and a few on the named plants.
I couldnt see any pollen but a friend swears by the method.
I tried it and now am going to have adeniums coming out my ears. WOO-HOO!! 8D
