Tricolored Heron. I'm guessing at this, looks the most like the drawing of a half grown Tricolored in "Peterson". The Little Blue Heron has a dark belly.

and just as I was getting back in the car, a Limpkin on the dock. I have never been lucky enough to get a photo before.

I just found out recently that we have Blue Herons here but I have never been able to get a good close up shot of one. Silly me thought they were cranes until I posted the pics on this forum.
