i'm thinking of getting a mac

but i don't know the first thing about them. i do know that i am pretty tired of all the problems i'm having on my old no-name pc. i ordered a couple of books through amazon to help me with questions and to help me make up my mind.

any thoughts here? pro or con are most welcome. thanks!

ps. i did do a search on mac discussions here on dg but i didn't come up with much. if there is a good thread to get me started, please point me in the right direction. thanks again!
