I have a couple of small variety eggplants (Asian type) -each plant has multiple (5-6) small fruits. I've never had so many develop at one time on one plant before. Will they all mature, or should I pick some of them to allow a couple to get large? Any help would be appreciated
small eggplants
What cultivar, some are like cherry tomatoes. They don't get big. Assuming they are purple, pick them when the gloss begans to dull, no matter the size.
Thanks! They are purple, and they're the smaller asian type, they're are just so many of them. Must admit, I'm not sure of the cultivar, because I had wholesale seedling failures this spring and kept replacing with "bought" plants. I'll just try picking some of the ones on the most-populated plants.
