This stalk has split into two growing points. The leaves aleady there are really quite deformed, too. Would love to get seeds from this.......if it would only cool down enough for seed to set by the time it flowers :(

LOL No, not the humidty, if that were the case the midwest would be full of deformed canna :) We haven't had too much here anyways. I'm sure the canna is virused.
The canna is unknown at this point. It was with some Journey's End's that weren't all JE. One of them popped up with small yellow blooms covered in bright red spots, so seeing the bloom on this may be interesting.
Yes, surprises are nice sometimes ! I love the ones with light green leaves, so much prettier than the dark ones.
Really? I love dark foliage....I think a lot of that is because the sun here is so intense and the dark foliage helps to keep everything from being so blinding in summer, but I thik Iwould love the dark either way.
