I guess I"m so tuned in to these ideas that I can be woke up out of a sound sleep when mentioned on tv. I'm trying to find out more now, but did anyone catch the whole story on "Nightline" last night? Hoping it's on the news again this morning.
Somewhere in New England, young people are doing this. One gal showed her homemade composting toilet, said a regular toilet accounts for about 1/3 of our water usage. Showed their set up for filtering kitchen sink water (blackwater, because of the grease) through an old bathtub set in the the garden. Doesn't sound like anything new, but it was great to hear about how it's being applied in small spaces.
