New one for US East Coast to watch

Fort Pierce, FL(Zone 10a)

From NOAA this morning:

" NHC has labeled this system "Invest 92L" this morning. Wind shear is about 10 knots in this region, which is low enough to allow some development over the next few days. This area is moving west-northwest, and will be near the U.S. East coast late this week. The next trough of low pressure strong enough to recurve this system is not due until Saturday, so this system will definitely be a threat to the U.S. if it develops"

So, it went away?

Fort Pierce, FL(Zone 10a)

Hi Darius! Yes, it just sputtered out before it came across the Bahamas. We didn't even get the rain we were promised. So far, so good (for the U.S.). Sure hope our luck holds!!!

The Weather Chanel had two days of remembering Hurricane Andrew. I just had to turn it off.......going through it once made all the bad memories I can handle.
Fondly,
