Is anybody surprised by the latest DG poll?

As of today, at least, it looks like people who can and freeze are in the minority among DG members (at least among the members who responded to the weekly poll). I'm a little surprised by those results. I'd expect that to be the case among the general public, but I figured the DG community would be more likely to preserve food from the harvest.

I say this as somebody who is only this year getting into canning in a more substantial way, so maybe I'm more like the norm after all.

Anyway, I thought these results were interesting. Anybody else?
