Decorating a Kindergarten room

My daughter has her 1st permanent teaching job as a Kindergarten teacher this fall. Looking for ideas to help her decorate her room. The school is surrounded by a dense population of apts. w/ Russian and Mexican families so I was trying to work that in. Ideas?
