What a nice garden. Is A. nepetoides the very tall plant way back by the fence in the center of the image?

yep, the tallest with cream/white flowers. I like how it fills in but is airy. I'm thinking about getting starts from it, but not sure of the easiest way.

I imagine it would drop seeds all over the place and you could get the seedlings in the spring; that is, if it behaves like my Agastache foeniculum.

I'll look for them in the spring if the finches leave any seeds! thanks

my DH teases me as I spend "hours" waiting to get a good pic, but once in awhile it is worth the wait

Beautiful!

Cedar Springs, MI(Zone 5b)

I like it too!!
Is this a perennial or annual and would it be hardy in Z5?

perrenial, lobelia or cardinal flower - I think it would be hardy - but you may want to check the plant files

Debilu,

Your garden is wonderful, colorful and looks inviting! Must be great to sit down and rest and relax & watching (and listening) to the birds and Butterflies!

The Hummingbird photo is fantastic! Great shot!

Thanks for sharing.
