I was told it was a spirea.

Not really saying spirea to me. The lighter stems look familiar, but I can't place it. In the althea family maybe?

Oh a mock orange would be sooo cool. I went and looked up mock orange in the plant files and it does look like it. The fragrance would be wonderful. Al you are just the best!! Thank you so much for all your help! Can't wait for the spring!!
