Somebody gave me a big old rusty teakettle today... it looks like it used to go on a woodburner. It would make a great fountain.
Speaking of fountains.. they are so incredibly easy to make out of old stuff you find... all you need is a small pump, maybe some tubing. I made one earler this summer out of a planter that looks like a half whiskey barrel. I put the pump down in the bottom, propped up with a brick. Then I placed several flat rocks around it, almost to the top. Filled it up with water and voila, instant rustic water feature. =)
