It's mildew time again, powdery and downy. I've heard of spraying a milk-water mixture to prevent or treat mildew (OK, at this point it's treatment, too late for prevention!) and I wonder if anyone has first-hand experience with it?

Milk for cucumbers/zucchini mildew problem
I spray or sprinkle milk on all of my tomatoes and cucumbers. I find that it helps in a lot of ways. It seems to make the plants stronger and less prone to disease.
